Research Interest

My research aims to understand how the integration of soft- and hard-tissue is achieved, leading to increased fitness, niche partitioning, and ultimately, contributing to extant vertebrate ecomorphological diversity. Utilizing the crania, an important housing for various sensory apparatuses, as my study system, my research focuses on inter- and intraspecies variations using (1) functional morphology and (2) allometry across developmental and geological time.
